Today we visited the QC Marathon before church. The main reason we showed up was to see the start/finish line tower that I created @ VictoryStore. It turned out pretty sweet. We also got there just in time to see the winner of the women’s race. AND, an 80-something year old lady beat her own world record in the half marathon! Craziness…

FINALLY, we got a REAL table! Now we don’t have to eat at a card table Also, it will be great to have room for guests… hint hint to anyone out there :p

When life hands you cucumbers, why not make pickles? This was our first experience canning and not all of the cans turned out like we hoped. I guess we’ll just eat lots of pickles in the next few weeks

One of the farmer’s markets are just a few blocks from our apartment, and this is the perfect time of year to get stuff, so we headed that way this morning. Hopefully we can keep up with it before it goes bad
